about

An ecotone is a transitionary habitat, like the edge of a forest or a band of reeds along the coast, not quite land, nor water. Partly inspired by our disciplines, these pieces all play on small, undulating fluxes and changes in our environments, like the way that small wavelets by the side of a shallow lake play with the light over the course of a day, or the subtle progress of seasons in a greenhouse. Recorded from 2016 to 2022 in Guelph, Toronto, and Logan Utah, they bridged distances, but in doing so, found their own voice.
